All right! Now to answer the questions!

What is your favorite thing about reading?

Probably the joy and emotion I feel when reading a great story! Also, I just love the physical act of reading the words and flipping pages of books! So nice!

Which male character is your favorite?

Hmm…I really like Jace from the Ilyon Chronicles. He’s a great character with an amazing character arc and you can really sympathize with him.

Which female character is your favorite?

Lucy from The Chronicles of Narnia!! She’s super awesome and her faith in Aslan is really inspiring!

Who is your favorite villain of all time?

Hmmm…I like Saruman from The Lord of the Rings a lot as a villain. Also Gnag the Nameless from The Wingfeather Saga is a good one. And the White Witch from Narnia…there are a lot of great villains!

Who is your least favorite character of all time?

Quentin from In the Hall of the Dragon King. He is such a flat character with no character arc or motives! He’s just the default orphan kid wanting adventure with no certain goal.

Which book do you think has the strongest plot?

HOW AM I TO CHOOSE?! Uuuuh…I’m kinda cheating here because it’s a series but the Ilyon Chronicles as a whole has an amazing plot.

What gets on your nerves the most in a story (a boring character, an unrealistic plot, etc.)?

Probably the cliches. When I’m reading a book and I come across something like the default orphan character and it doesn’t do anything to further the plot, it really bugs me.

Which book has the best cover (share a picture!)?

Gosh, I love a lot of book covers!! Here are a couple I really like…

Do you let people borrow your books? If so, are you specific about how they treat them?

I don’t really let many people borrow my books but when they do I always tell them to be careful with it. I’m very protective of my books. XD

If a movie could be made based on any book, which book would you choose?

Okay, there are two.

1: The Wingfeather Saga!

I would love it if someone picked up that book series and did a really high budget live action movie series with it. They would have to do it really well though. I know that they are kinda working on turning it into an animated movie series right now but I would personally like to see it live action! I suppose animation would be okay but they would have to do it REALLY well.

2: The Mysterious Benedict Society!

Trenton Lee Stewart’s writing is stunning, and you can practically see it as a movie already, and I think if someone stuck to the story and did it really well it would be amazing to watch!! I’m not sure if I would want to see it as a live action or animated. There would be pros and cons to both.

Which author has inspired you most?

Oooh…probably J. R. R. Tolkien and Chuck Black. There are others, but I think their writing has inspired me the most.

What single book would you be unable to live without?

The Bible!

      1. You most definitely should read it!!
YES!!!! I saw him at a homeschool conference this year and he said that he is hoping to have the book done by this December and released not long after. He also said that it’s unlike anything he’s ever written before. Call me wacko, but I think it might have something to do with space.

  2. Wow, thanks for tagging me! 😃 I’ll have to try and do this during a Camp NaNoWriMo in the future 😄 (it’s easier for me to make posts that are replying to nominations than to make an entire post when I need my free time to write my story 😛 )

  3. What a fun tag! I love that second cover you shared. I’ve never read any of his books, but his interview in the content library was inspiring! And thank you for the tag!! I look forward to this one!
