I hath been summoned for a blog tag! Thank you very much, Rose!

Fun fact, I’ve actually been tagged for this same tag twice already over my years of blogging, but I love it, and I haven’t done a blog tag in EVER, so I want to do it again! 😂

THE RULES:

1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.
2. Answer the questions.
3. Nominate eleven bloggers and ask them eleven questions.

Sounds good to me!! Let us commence answering the questions! 😀

1: Do you have a favorite Bible verse (or one that’s touched you personally, recently)?

These have been some verses I’ve been holding onto recently as a reminder: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” ~1st Thessalonians 5:16-18

2: Which fictional character would you like to eat a meal with (say, at your favorite restaurant- you don’t have to cook it. If you don’t like to cook)?

Mmm I think I’d have to say Bilbo Baggins or Gandalf. I’d love to hear all of their amazing adventure stories! And we’d probably eat…I dunno, at a sushi place or something? 😂

3: Inner slice or crust slice of a pan of brownies?

I think I have to go with the crust slice! You get a bit of that solid crisp crunch, but the majority is still that gooey, moist, chocolatey goodness!

4: Which is your favorite fairy tale? (or top 3, if you have trouble choosing)

Oh mannnn I haven’t thought about fairy tales in so long…I honestly don’t know. Is Robin Hood mythical enough to be counted as a fairy tale? I know it’s technically a legend, but ima say Robin Hood! 😜

5: Would you rather write a critically-acclaimed, bestselling novel that creates a huge following (but only one), or one or more good, but not hugely famous, series/ short story collections?

Oh man, this is a torturous question! How dare you ask this of me! *shakes fist* Ummm…to be perfectly honest, I’ll have to go with multiple good but not hugely famous books–only because I couldn’t imagine only publishing a single book and never again. I have too many stories to tell! Hopefully one of my books does become a bestseller though, that’d be EPIC!

6: What is one great book you like that no one else seems to know about?

Hmm…The Ilyon Chronicles is an amazing series that isn’t incredibly well known…also Chuck Black’s Knights of Arrethtrae books feel pretty unknown as well!

7: What is one thing/habit you’ve found that really gets you in the writing groove?

Making a cup of tea usually helps, as well as playing ambient music (usually LotR music!!)

8: Dream pet (disregarding allergies, budgetary limitations, or even realism, if you’d like a unicorn…)?

Ooooh I want two! Is that okay? I don’t care if it’s not I’m gonna say them anyway!

Dream pet number 1: DRAGONNNNN (because come on, who wouldn’t want one??)

Dream pet number 2: A CAPYBARAAAA THEY’RE THE BEST ANIMALS EVER

9: You discover a mysterious wooden-and-brass box buried in your yard. What course of action do you take to open it (or do you re-bury it)?

Ooh interesting! I would probably just open it up the moment I found it, not expecting it to be anything incredible.

10: Favorite place to read?

I usually read on my bed, but when it’s a warm spring/summer day I love sitting outside and reading! 😄

11: Which book would you once have been reluctant to read, but are now glad you did?

I was a tad reluctant to read The Hunger Games, due to expecting it to be too dark and violent, but I wanted to know why people liked it so much, and now I’m glad I read it! It’s not that bad!
