NaNoWriMo Week #2: Updates and a Cover!

Sorry that this post is going to be so short, everyone. I just want to say that yes, the rest of the posts in November are going to be much shorter and not quite as fun as my usual posts, due to the fact that I’m spending most of my writing time on my NaNoWriMo novel. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t be posting on here every week like usual. They’ll just be snappier and to the point.

So! You might be asking me how week 2 of NaNoWriMo went!

I’ll answer that: it went quite well! I’ve reached my minimum word count goal every single day, and I’m pretty far into the story! It’s been a ton of fun to not edit anything and simply dive into writing a full novel for the fun of it.

I’m currently at about 30k+ words in my novel, and still going strong. I think this novel is going to be a little longer than 50k words, but that’s okay! That means I get to write more, even after I win NaNo! 😀

Now, without further ado, I want to show you all the mock cover I made in October for my NaNo novel, Trusting the Enemy.

Pretty coooool, right? 😀

I like it alot!

Anyway, that’s going to be it for this week, sorry it wasn’t longer or more interesting. It takes a lot of work to do NaNo, and juggling a blog and an email list as well can get pretty difficult. So forgive me for the short posts.

All right then!

Until later,

  1. Oh my, you’re already at 30k+??? That is awesome, Caleb! Goodness gracious me, I feel like writing now. XD Great job for persevering!! And the cover is so cool! Makes me want to read it. 😏
