Awesome Writing Music! Pt. 2

Welcome welcome!

I really enjoyed writing last week’s post, and there were still a few types of music that I absolutely love listening too while writing that I didn’t talk about.

So that’s what we’re doing this week!!

While last week’s music selection was more for actual writing, such as writing the first drafts of novels, these types of music are more for focus, such as music for editing or working on a blog post.

Let’s jump right in!

1: LoFi/Chillhop

I listen to this type of music A LOT. It’s laid back, relies pretty heavily on beats, and makes me relax and calm down.

One of my favorite YouTube channels that shares this kind of music is “Chillhop Music”. Here are some of my favorite mixes they’ve made!

Another channel that shares this kind of music is “KnightKit12”. And, he’s actually a really good friend of mine! So definitely check out his channel!!

#2: Chillstep

This is another chill, relaxing style of music, but this kind relies heavily on both beat and melody! It’s really cool! Here’s a couple mixes I like:

#3: Upbeat Music

This isn’t really any music genre in particular, but I just enjoy upbeat, happy music to listen to while editing! Here’s a upbeat song I like:

And there we go! All done!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and that you’ll check out some of this music for yourself!

Until later,

  1. You are totally speaking my language! My Sister and I listen to lofi literally all the time. It’s great for when we are doing school. Chillhop Music is one channel that we listen to often and the raccoon is so adorable! 😄

  2. Lofi hip hop is great! I listen to it a ton. I don’t know if you’ve listened to it before, but you should check out the Sherlock soundtrack (and show) for some really dramatic background music.
