The Nerdy Bookworm Tag! [Original Tag]

Happy first day of Summer!! At last, it has come!

The world is still crazy. I like to read. I like to blog. Let’s create a TAG!!

Hello, everyone! Today I decided to make my own tag for the blogging community. And, of course, I decided to have it centered around books. Because why not? 😀

All right! Here we go!

The Nerdy Bookworm Tag!

THE RULES:

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Include the Nerdy Bookworm Tag Image in your post.
  3. Answer the five Nerdy Bookworm Questions.
  4. Nominate two or more bloggers.
  5. Have fun!

The 5 Nerdy Bookworm Questions:

  1. What is your favorite book(s) of all time?

2. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to people handling books?

3. In your opinion, how big does a book have to be for you to be intimidated to read it?

4. What’s your favorite book format? (Paperback, Hardcover, Ebook, Audiobook, ect.)

5. What are the first things you do when you pick up a book?

And that’s it! So I’m going to answer these questions myself, then tag a few people to do the tag (if they want to)!

1: What is your favorite book(s) of all time?

Hmm…besides the Bible, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are probably my favorite books. But there are so so many more!

2: What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to people handling books?

Probably when they bend back cover so far that it curls up. UUUGH! Why do people do that??

3: In your opinion, how big does a book have to be for you to be intimidated to read it?

A book could be 10,000 pages and I’d still want to read it. Long books are awesome, as long as they’re good!

4: What’s your favorite book format? (Paperback, Hardcover, Ebook, Audiobook, ect.)

I would have to say paperback. It’s a physical copy, but it’s easy to hold and is more sleek than hardcover. However, hardcovers are really nice when you want a fancy copy of something. Ebooks are nice when you’re traveling or something and you want 100 books in something the size of 1! Audiobooks are great for when you want to multi-task and do something else while you get to listen to a book! So yeah. 🙂

5: What are the first things you do when you pick up a book?

Step 1 when Caleb picks up a book: Flip it all around and examine the front, back, and spine. Step 2: Hold it it both hands and feel if its a sturdy copy or not. Step 3: Look at the thickness of the book. Step 4: Flip through the pages to see if they’re in nice condition/how many pages the book has. Step 5: Smell the book while flipping through the pages of the book. Oh! Such wonderful smells! Step 6: Read the back of the book to see if its interesting.

Aaand we’re done!

Now, I thus pass on the tag to these five people (if they so wish to do the tag):

Mary, Wild Writing Dreams

Jewel, Treasured Script

Lili, Good Story Lili

Ashley, The Everhart Author

Zielle, Write in the Dark

If I didn’t tag you, reader, and you would like to do this tag, please go right ahead! I’d love to see this tag spread around the blogging community!

Until later,
