Glittering:
From moonlight up high
a snowy landscape is seen
that is glittering
Snow Blanket:
A small twig pokes out
its brown strange against the white
of a snow blanket

Well, if we had a post of Autumn haikus, we needed a Winter one!
This was kind of a spur of the moment thing, but I wanted to do it as soon as I thought of the idea. Haikus are so much fun to write, and why not do one about Winter…while its still Winter?
Do you enjoy these haikus? If you do, please tell me! If you want me to I’d love to write and post more!
That’s all for now,

I always love reading haikus. I think they are some of the most beautiful types of poetry.
