Do I Have That Book? Challenge

I did this challenge because I saw it on Maya’s blog, and she said whoever wanted to do it could, so I did! πŸ˜€

So basically you go through the twenty types of books and you see if you have a book that meets that type on your bookshelf. Here we go!

1: A Book With Tattered Edges

Yep, my copy of The Hobbit is pretty torn. The cover is ripped and it’s kinda sad. XD

2: A Book With 3+ People on the Cover

Bingoooo! Five people!

The Knights of Arrethtrae is an amazing series by Chuck Black, I have almost every book, and they are all so good!

3: A Book Based on Another Fictional Story

This book is based off of the King Arthur Legends. It’s a fun book. πŸ˜›

4: A Book With a 10-Letter-Long Title

R. That’s 1. E. That’s 2. S. That’s 3. Skip a few…and E. That’s 10! πŸ˜‰

The Ilyon Chronicles is one of my favorite series of all time! It’s action-packed, has great characters, a compelling plot, outstanding writing, and is my genre! Ah! Perfect!

5: A Book With a Title That Starts and Ends With the Same Letter

“T”he hidden pas”T”! Yay! Both T’s!

This series is one of the best I have read! It’s set in the time before The Phantom Menace, when Qui-Gon was training Obi-Wan. Super cool!

6: A Mass Market Paperback

One of my like, 50+ Louis L’amour books. XD Almost all of them are in Mass Market Paperback edition.

7: A Book by an Author Using a Pen Name

Mark Twain was a pen name for Samuel Clemens. This novel is super hilarious. XD

8: A Book With a Character’s Name in the Title

YAAAY REDWALL!! This is such a fun book! (I feel like I keep saying I love so many of the books I’m sharing in this post. Well, it’s true. :P)

9: A Book With Two Maps

This one volume edition of The Lord of the Rings that I have has multiple maps in the back!

10: A Book That Has Turned into a TV Show

The Tintin comic books were adapted into a TV show! πŸ˜€

11: A Book by an Author Famous for Something Other Than or in Addition to Writing

Andrew Peterson is known not only for his books but for his songs! πŸ˜€

12: A Book With a Clock on Its Cover

I actually found one! This one was really hard. XD

13: A Book of Poetry

So though this isn’t a book of only poems, it is a book with a collection of poems in it. So I thought it counted. πŸ˜€

14: A Book With an Award Stamp on the Cover

This is the first one I have that I thought of because I just finished reading it.

15: A Book Whose Author Has the Same Initials as You

Oh my gosh, I had to pull out another Nancy Drew book I have! XD XD

And get this, the author’s name, Carolyn Keene, (C and K, see? My initials!) is actually a ghost writer name! So it’s not actually the author’s name at all! But hey, a ton of books have been published under the name Carolyn Keene, so it counts! πŸ˜›

16: A Short Story Collection

The last official book in the Ranger’s Apprentice series! It’s such a cool book!

17: A Book That is 500-510 Pages Long

My copy of Eragon has 503 pages I believe.

I just finished reading this book a few days ago, it was really good!

18: A Book That’s Been Turned into a Movie

This book is one of my favorites of all time, and the movie is one of my favorite movies of all time! πŸ˜›

19: A Graphic Novel

I don’t have a ton, but this is one of the graphic novels I have.

20: A Book With Two or More Authors

This is a collection of stories placed in Aerwiar (The Wingfeather Saga world) by multiple authors!

Well, that’s it! I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed making it! πŸ˜€

If you would like to do this tag, go right ahead! I’d love to see you do it!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, I really like collecting books! πŸ™‚
Yes, fantasy is my favorite!! πŸ˜€
I do recommend Chuck Black! His books are amazing! I can’t personally recommend his latest trilogy, just because I haven’t read it yet, but I assume it’s good. Knights of Arrethtrae and the Kingdom Series are both so awesome though! I’ve read both series multiple times!
